elected officials present except treasurer Bonnie Potter and included chairman
Brad Steinmetz, supervisors Myron Richard and Virgil Thomas Jr. and clerk
Lonnie Muller.

Meeting
opened at 7 p.m. by chairman Brad Steinmetz
Motion
by Steinmetz to move item A of new business up to top and seconded by Richard.
All yes, passed.
Opened
sealed bids. Kraemers opened. ¾ inch and breaker run spread
and stockpiled. $7.44. Screenings stockpiled is the same price. John
Mahoney asked if price was higher than last year and it is by $1.00. Motion by
Richard, 2nd by Thomas. All yes.
Motion passed. Scott Construction bids opened. SS coat the bid is
$14,400 per mile at 20 foot width. Motion to accept by Thomas, 2nd by Richard. All yes, Passed. Bid
opening from. 1st cover bid on gravel
surface is $22,200 per mile. Motion by Richard. 2nd by Thomas. All yes. Motion passes. Double seal bid
$31,350 per mile. Motion by Richard, 2nd
by Thomas. All yes, motion passed. TRIP bid for W. Maple Ridge Road, bid
is $37,047. Motion by Steinmetz, 2nd
by Thomas. All yes, motion passed.

Citizen
discussion: John Mahoney: Had questions about new town hall, feels could
continue using Reserve building and then rent someplace for record storage,
also asked about Maple Ridge sealcoating and maybe a retaining wall on French
Hill. Koletta asked about camping trailer on Munson road.
Informational
reports. Steinmetz reported that there is leakage on brace arms of end
loader and needs repairing and Arnie Hatfield will fix if he wants. Chairman
reported on WTA meeting, cleanup date set for May 9th, schedule C completed, election workers attending training,
road bans in place.
Old
business:
a.
Fema payment – received all of 2008 money, 2007 has been resubmitted,
around $44,000 and Stark gets 87.5% back.
b.
Building – several different grants being looked at, chairman got call
from Senator FeingoldŐs office today concerning stimulus money for firehouse.
Also seeking grant through CDBG than can pay up to $750,000. Steinmetz met
with Sam Skemp today from county Conservation office concerning cropland
easements in floodplains worth $3,000 per acre and might be able to use to help
pay for land for building. Chairman will attend state budget meeting in Sparta
next Monday.

Comprehensive planning – continue updating each month, next meeting 13

Update with Ho-Chunk on road flood damage – nothing back from Ho-Chunk
e.
Update with PILT concerning Ho-Chunk – nothing from attorney
f.
Stimulus dollars update – no money for roads, maybe building
New
business:
a. Gravel and seal coating bids, moved to
top of meeting
b. Mutual insurance – representative
was a no-show
c. Vote approval to pay Klemme to submit
grant at cost of $800. Motion by Richard, 2nd by Thomas, All yes, motion approved.
d. Election and annual meeting discussed
e. Zoning meeting is set for March 26th.
